VASJ Athletic Field Renovation

$1,607,621 raised to date 

Phase I of the field renovation project is complete! Thank you to our incredible alumni and donors who made the turf athletic field possible. 

We are now progressing into Phase II of the project, and are ready to complete this outstanding addition to the VASJ campus with the support of valued Viking supporters.

Phase II:

       Completed: 

• Scoreboard ($41,000) - Donated by the St. Joseph Class of 1970
• Track base ($141,000)
• LED field lights ($363,000) 
• Track field events ($49,400)
• Rubber coating on track: $168,000

       Still to be completed: 

• New grandstands and press box: $1.1 million
• Other track expenses: $54,000
• Miscellaneous electrical: $35,000

Nearly 65% of VASJ students participate in at least one sport. Football, boys and girls soccer, cheerleading, and track and field will now be able to utilize the renovated field. We also look forward to partnering with CYO programs to support the greater community.
