Ohio colleges consider students well prepared for college level curriculum when they have achieved a 3.0 or better in the following core curriculum subject areas:

  • English - 4 units recommended
  • Math - 3 units recommended (4 for Class of 2014 and beyond)
  • Science - 3
  • Social Studies - 3
  • Foreign Language - 2 (3-4 for strong preparation)
  • Arts - 1
