VASJ Application Timeline

If you are an 8th grade student at Catholic Grade School:

  1. All 8th grade students are required to take the VASJ entrance exam in the fall.
  2. In early January, students will receive the Diocese of Cleveland Application packet for the Catholic High Schools. Families will be instructed by their Catholic grade schools about completing the packet and deadlines.
  3. Once a student has completed the application packet and records are received by VASJ from the student’s grade school, they will be reviewed in conjunction with their entrance exam results. Please note that the committee bases its decision on the information that is available to them. An incomplete file can result in denial of admission to VASJ.
  4. Letters notifying students of admissions decisions will be mailed on February 14.
  5. Admitted students will register in March.
  6. If you are a student at a school affiliated with the Marianist Urban Student Program (MUSP), St. Agatha-Aloysius, St. Francis, St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Jerome, click here.
