Welcome to Villa Angela-St. Joseph. We are a 17,000+ community that invites students and their families to visit our campus and meet our outstanding students, faculty and staff. Our motto is “Faith. Family. Future.” Once you become a student at VASJ, you become a member of a faith family where everyone knows you and is committed to helping you succeed academically and grow spiritually. We hope that you will consider us your first choice for your high school education.
Villa Angela-St. Joseph is an accredited, comprehensive college preparatory high school sponsored by the Ursuline and Marianist religious orders. Admission is selective, based upon academic achievement, conduct and attendance. Priority for acceptance is given to incoming 9th grade students from Catholic grade schools, students with siblings currently attending VASJ and children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren of Alumnae/Alumni.
VASJ welcomes any student who would like to find meaning in Catholic traditions and has a sincere desire to develop a closer relationship with God as lived through the teachings of St. Angela Merici and Blessed Father William Joseph Chaminade.
As a smaller Catholic high school, a VASJ education provides far-reaching advantages to all of our students. VASJ provides a highly personalized learning experience based upon the relationships between students and teachers that only a small school can provide. Our students experience a learning environment where curriculum choices and use of technology mirror the challenges that await them on college campuses as well as prepare them for the practicalities of everyday life. Our honors, Advanced Placement and Post Secondary Educational Opportunities as well as our Special Education program, Pre-Engineering, Culinary Arts and Industrial Arts curricula provide all students an opportunity to build strong college resumes.
We host activities each year to help students get to know VASJ. Check out our Admissions calendar for opportunities to visit our campus and meet VASJ students, faculty and other students just like you. The Admissions calendar also provides important deadlines for our admissions process. If you would like more information about VASJ and admissions, contact the Admissions office at 216-481-8414 ext. 284.
We look forward to meeting you in the Viking Village!
