Viking students are given many opportunities to get involved during their four years at VASJ.  In fact, the majority of our students are involved in at least one extracurricular activity or sport. 

Extracurricular activities are a big part of everyday life in the Viking Village.  Over 30 clubs are available for students to participate in and students are encouraged to continuously establish new ones based on their interests.

Students are also given the opportunity to become involved in other ways.  For example, each year, they are an integral part in helping design the school Christmas card.  Whether the extracurricular activities draw interest, or the variety of classes and electives strike a chord, or whether you choose to become a spiritual leader in the school, VASJ definitely has something for everyone!

Krystal Smith, a VASJ Class of 2004 graduate, had this to say about VASJ's opportunities, "As a member of the cheerleading squad, student ambassadors, peer ministers and student council, I am happy that I've had the opportunity to be involved in different activities to prepare for college."
